Humanist Dinner Discussion Group meeting on the South side of Seattle

You are invited to a new in-person dinner discussion group focusing on Humanist issues. This first meeting will be at Two Shoe Barbecue located in White Center ( We'll be meeting at 7:00pm and expect two hours for dining, conviviality, presentation and discussion.

After dinner, Mike will give a short presentation on Alexander Humboldt's science, art, and impact on early American society. Humboldt is little known today (except for the large number of monuments and edifices named in his honor) but in the early years of post-revolutionary America he was well known by educated Americans. Following the presentation, an open discussion will finish out the time.

Future discussion topics will be selected and presented by participants.
