I am having fun reading this, although it is rather long. I was not aware of the early influence that Native American observations had on the Europeans, especially on the Enlightenment movement later.

Jay commented that this video was not about atheism except one answer to a question at the end. This is true, but I would point out that the video club is meant for atheists, not necessarily about atheism. The discussion was relevant because atheists tend to be invested in the elegance and beauty of reality. It is so much more awe inspiring to learn from science how the world actually works than the petty and close minded view of the religious.

This is where we discuss books of the Atheist Book Club, past, present, and future. We are currently reading "The Dawn of Everything" by David Greber and David Wengrow. If this is too long for you, you might read one of the summaries. One is even by the authors.

In this forum, we hope to have a continuing discussion about Seattle Atheists. We want to hear from all members and volunteers about their experience and what they would like to see our group do. We also just want to get to know each other better and share news about nontheists.
