Proceeds from gift wrapping are donated to Children’s Hospital. We need volunteers for the rest of the holiday season. All shifts are at the downtown Seattle Borders, 1501 4th Ave. No wrapping experience is necessary, but basic scissor-tape skills are helpful. All supplies are provided. Don’t be shy, it’s fun!

Monday, Dec 6th 9am-12 / 12-4pm / 4-8pm
Wednesday, Dec 8th 9am-12 / 12-4pm / 4-8pm
Thursday, Dec 9th 9am-12 / 12-4pm / 4-8pm

Seattle Atheists will be donating over $800 to The Childrens Hospital Fund thanks to the efforts of gift wrappers and the generosity of all the bookstore patrons who donated!  Also this month Seattle Atheists collected 57 lb. of food for Northwest Harvest.  Thank you, and remember to bring non-perishable goods to SA meetings and events!

It’s a great way to let people know that atheists care about the holiday season as well, and that we do charitable work.

A big thank you to Seattle Atheists member Megan S. for coordinating this year’s efforts! E-mail Megan to volunteer at the downtown Seattle Borders Books & Music. Any Seattle Atheists member can volunteer, and we can even teach you how to wrap gifts! We need two volunteers per shift. As shifts fill up, I’ll put first names in parentheses as reminders.
