Jerry has selected “Divided by God: America’s Church-State Problem — and What We Should Do About It” by Noah Feldman as the first book that the group will tackle.

Dacey is a philosopher who spoke at a Seattle Atheists function last summer. This book outlines his theory of a secular liberalism and its role in society.

For our last book of the year, we will be reading Alpha, Omega, by Lori Stephens. Stephens is a local author here in the greater Seattle area, and she is an active member of the atheist/humanist community. We will only have a single meeting for discussion of this novel.
