Book group

Jerry is the new organizer of the Seattle Atheists book group, and he’s made a few welcome changes. He’s renamed the group “The Slow Reader’s Book Group,” since so many of us lead busy lives, which doesn’t always make it possible to participate in a fast-moving book group.

He’s  slowed down the pace to reading half of each book every two months, which allow participants to complete three books per year, and avoid burnout. Jerry said, “I also like the idea that I can read at a leisurely pace and have time to think about the ideas that are being presented.”

Jerry will be using Meetup.com to limit attendance to a manageable number, so please RSVP early to get a spot!

Join the Seattle Atheists and Agnostics Meetup to RSVP for the Slow Readers Book Group meetings, and to receive notices about book club events!
