Update on charity giftwrapping and food donations

February 16th, 2010

Thank you to all who helped wrap gifts at area bookstores this holiday season: Jerry, Bob, Kathy, Scott, Kyle, Megan, Mike, Roslyn, Rhi, Jami, Julien, Case, Shane, Ian, Sam, Beth, Becky, and Tanya!   A special thanks goes to Megan for her efforts in coordinating this activity.  :)

Seattle Atheists will be donating over $800 to The Childrens Hospital Fund thanks to the efforts of gift wrappers and the generosity of all the bookstore patrons who donated!  Also this month Seattle Atheists collected 57 lb. of food for Northwest Harvest.  Thank you, and remember to bring non-perishable goods to SA meetings and events!

While this will be an opportunity for outreach for our secular Jewish organization, it’s also meant as a general discussion of the billboard’s message, and she welcomes all who have a stake in it.
